Ingredients
  

Fruits
  • 1 medium orange peeled
  • 1/2 cup pineapple chunks
  • 1/4 cup frozen mango
Vegetables
  • 1/2 cup carrots chopped
  • 1/4 inch ginger peeled
Liquids
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
Optional Boosters
  • 1 teaspoon chia seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon turmeric powder

Method
 

  1. Combine all fruits and vegetables in a blender.
  2. Add water and lemon juice.
  3. Blend until smooth.
  4. Add chia seeds or turmeric, if desired.
  5. Blend again for a few seconds.
  6. Pour into a glass and serve immediately.

Notes

Feel free to play around with the ingredient ratios to tailor the taste to your liking. Fresh ingredients are always best, but frozen fruits and vegetables can be a convenient alternative. To increase the health benefits, consider adding a small amount of leafy greens. If you find the juice too thick, simply add more water until you reach the desired consistency. Some blenders are more powerful than others. For a refreshing change, you can add a few ice cubes during the blending process.
